Hungarian and foreign speakers presented international and domestic ‘best practices’ and discussed industry expectations at the conference organized at the recently re-opened Puskas Arena.
More than 300 event professionals, including corporate clients, event suppliers and media representatives attended the #PowerOfLiveEvents conference, where strict health&safety procedures complemented the live event experience.
Following the professional program, guests were invited to attend casual get-together events at two locations: the Heroes Square and the Danube Promenade, where live concerts entertained the visitors. For that evening iconic buildings and popular sights of Budapest turned blue to draw attention to the importance of personal experiences and to the power of live events.
I believe the meeting professionals have proved that the profession is able to survive and there is a safe solution for organizing events under the current circumstances.
Delivering this message across borders and boosting the business events market requires a proactive, solution-oriented attitude and the collaboration of the entire profession. With this conference, we have taken the first significant step in this collaboration.
Flexibility, partnership, responsibility – these will be the keywords of the post-coronavirus era for live business event organisers and related industry players.
